Team Australia now at day 5 and with 5 Athletes in the Team starting off our campaign. We have one prospect still in the competition, Luke Thompson, 91kg division who yesterday beat India winning by TKO.

World Championships this year as always is of a very high standard.

Summary of Team Australia.

Rebecca Rooney NT lost on points to Czech Republic.

Andrew Tung NSW lost TKO to Belarus.

Dion Beattie NSW lost RSC to Belarus.

Billy Coulter QLD win by points against Uzbekistan 2nd round lost to Belarus by points.

Team Australia has certainty had a tough draw with a young team at these Championships. It has been a great experience.

Day off today for the Athletes. Finals start tomorrow through to Friday.
