Summit Sportsman Series
Grant Radcliffe (8.296s/140.80mph) and Adam Murrihy (6.724s/167.66mph) found themselves taking home the winners’ trophy in the Modified and Supercharged Outlaws brackets. Radcliffe faced Bradley Hicks and Allan Arthus on his way to victory, while the top qualifying Murrihy took on and defeated Jay Bouchere, Alan Mahnkoph and Doina Day to kick off his title defence in style.

Top Sportsman
Top Sportsman for the HVDS Season 2016 was won by Victorian Drag Racer Ben Phillips in his Torana. During the season Phillips scored 2 wins and 1 runner up giving him a total of 80 points. The runner up for the season was local racer Dwight Brieffies who won round 1 and was runner up in the season finale scoring 50 points for the season. Grant Radcliffe in the Altered also scored 50 points being runner up in round 3 and winning round 5, on both occasions racing Benny Phillips in these 2 finals.

Track Championship - 2016
Super Street
Super Street for the HVDS Season 2016 was cleaned up by local racer Shaun Boyer with 4 wins in the Gemini scoring 120 points. Paul Cook in the Pontiac Firebird was the season runner up with a win in round 4 and runner up in round 5 scoring a season total of 50 points.
Paul Cook also won the Season Trophy for Best Presented Super Street.

Track Championship - 2016
Super Sedan - Modified
Super Sedan for the HVDS Season 2016 was won by local racer Ashley Smith in the Camero with 80 points. The runner up was local racer Chris Parris in the Torana with 60 points.
Dean Radcliffe scored 20 points for the season after being runner up in round 5 to Ashley Smith.
