Darwin's has a Level 1 Instructor in Israeli Kalah Combat

In September and October 2021 our club hosted Kalah Australia Chief Instructor Phil Britten to hold Kalah Defensive Combat Seminars in Darwin, NT. These successful seminars introduced the many instructors from the Darwin and Katherine region to this Modern version of Krav Maga founded by IDF Soldier Idan Abolnik who served with the Golani Regiment.

After these seminars I had local fighter from Boxing attend my club and for over 2 years we trained together in the techniques of Kalah Defensive Combat with the goal of becoming an Official Accredited Kalah Instructor.

In September 2023 Kenny Harking travelled to Perth to attend the One Week Course to select which Participants are suitable to participate in the final examination to become Level 1 Instructors.

Kenny made it through the gruelling week and then passed the intense final exam.
